Job summary

SCIEX, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a District Sales Manager – West to lead the West district’s performance. The role is Bay Area–based and supports the West region remotely with relocation assistance offered.

You will translate regional strategy into disciplined execution, drive forecast accuracy, develop talent, and grow profitable revenue across the instrument portfolio while partnering with service, finance, HR, IT, and legal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life science–related discipline or equivalent experience in technical sales.
• 5+ years experience leading individual contributors in a sales environment.
• Experience owning sales forecasting, territory planning, and pipeline management at a district level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver district orders, revenue, and margin across the SCIEX instrument portfolio.
• Own district forecasting rigor, incl. weekly, monthly, quarterly commitments.
• Develop and execute district growth and action plans using DBS methodologies and metrics.
• Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships in the West region.
• Assess market dynamics, identify growth opportunities, and implement countermeasures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports for capability and engagement.
