Job summary

Abbott is seeking a District Sales Manager for Core Lab Diagnostics covering the Southern California territory and Hawaii. You will drive sales, coach Account Executives and Sales Ambassadors, and identify market opportunities to achieve revenue goals while negotiating contracts and overseeing pricing and profitability.

Travel is 50–75%. The role requires strong leadership, relationship building, and a deep understanding of medical devices in a quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 7+ years related experience; knowledge of medical devices/capital sales preferred.
• Experience in a quality system-driven organization and environment.
• Ability to influence team member activities and understand stakeholder dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre- and post-sales processes to ensure successful implementation, satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
• Develop and execute local business strategies using market/competitor insights to grow revenue and market share.
• Build strategic partnerships with customers and stakeholders to support objectives.
• Lead long-term contract negotiations and support pricing, profitability, and negotiations.
