Job summary

Abbott is seeking a District Sales Manager for Core Lab Diagnostics to drive sales and profitability across the Southern California region and Hawaii. You will develop sales strategies, lead Account Executives and Sales Ambassadors, and identify opportunities to grow revenue and market share.

Travel is 50-75% and you will negotiate contracts, monitor activity, and ensure compliant execution of company policies while building strong partnerships with stakeholders and supporting talent development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 7 years prior related experience; knowledge of medical devices and/or capital sales preferred.
• Experience in a quality-system driven organization.
• Ability to influence team member activities and build stakeholder relationships.
• Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.
• Superior communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre- and post-sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and execute local business strategies to grow revenue and market share.
• Build strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Lead long-term contract negotiations and support Account Executives on pricing and negotiations.
• Recruit, coach, and develop talent with clear direction and accountability.
