Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent is required or United States Armed Forces Veterans with military experience at the E6 pay grade or greater.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant business experience is required, with leadership capabilities including change management.
• Ophthalmology sales experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The District Business Manager has full responsibility for delivering and executing the district’s business strategy and tactics.
• Develops strong business relationships with partners, people development and building a talented pipeline.
• Manages the Surgical Vision franchise within the district and collaborates with partners to achieve goals.
• Oversees Account Executives, Capital Sales Specialists, Premium Practice Specialists, and Key Account Executives with dotted-line oversight of Laser/Refractive Laser Specialists.
• Hires, trains and retains a high-caliber sales team aligned to core specialties.
• Drives innovative approaches and shares ideas with leadership.
• Performance-manages the team to optimize sales output and overall performance.
• Works within an annual budget ensuring compliance with goals and policies.
