Job summary

Bonterra Organic Estates, part of Viña Concha y Toro USA, is seeking a District Manager based in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area to grow the VCT-USA portfolio across independent retail, on‑premise accounts, and chains. This remote, home‑office role requires extensive driving with 10–15% overnight travel, reporting to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or related field.
• Proven success in alcohol beverage industry sales and account management.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and growing market share.
• Experience working with wholesalers/distributors and key account customers.
• Knowledge and passion for luxury/premium and commercial wines.
• Strong verbal and written communicator with public speaking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to be insured.
• Overnight travel 10–15% of time; weekend/evening work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for market activation and driving brand programs.
• Build relationships with top retail accounts, local chains, and on-premise buyers.
• Develop relationships with distributor teams to expand reach.
• Coordinate market work-withs, surveys, and sales blitzes with distributors.
• Provide market performance recaps and identify execution gaps.
• Achieve sales, distribution, depletion, and market share objectives.
• Develop target account lists and execution plans to drive distribution and sales.
• Present programs, pricing initiatives and brand priorities to customers and distributors.
• Monitor pricing, distribution, merchandising and promotions.
