Distinguished Vineyards is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Southern California to lead account and wholesaler engagement, driving distribution in priority fine wine accounts and regional chains. The role reports to the Pacific Region Sales and Chain Director and is based in Southern California as a full-time remote position with strong benefits.

You will manage market activations, collaborate on pricing and programming, and build lasting relationships with top wholesalers and accounts while

Qualificações

• Proven success in fine wine sales with knowledge of the three-tier system.
• Minimum of three years in wine sales; selling to on- and off-premise channels.
• Wine accreditation (WSET, MS, etc.) desired but not mandatory.
• Proficiency with Excel, Nielsen data, iDig and Salesforce preferred.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and calendar management skills.

Responsabilidades

• ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT: be active in market 3 days per week and grow direct relationships with top accounts.
• Own and expand relationships with select on/off premise chains in the area.
• Run account activations such as tastings, events and education sessions.
• WHOLESALER ENGAGEMENT: align with DV leader on business plan, goals and pricing.
• Develop programming, reviews and realtor/sales team updates to drive volume.
• Build and maintain relationships with market influencers and distributor reps.
• DVWP TEAMWORK: collaborate on pricing, programming and market engagement strategies with brand and winemaking teams.
