Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision is seeking a District Business Manager to lead the US Cataract and Refractive franchise within the district, driving quota attainment and coordinating cross-functional partners in a fast-paced surgical setting. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in ophthalmology or related sales, strong leadership, and is willing to travel up to 60%.

Remote-friendly with preferred residency in Denver, Phoenix, or Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant business experience with leadership capabilities or 2 years US Armed Forces military experience.
• Knowledge of Capital and Consumable selling cycles and processes is preferred.
• Experience in Operating Room and familiarity with OR etiquette is preferred.
• Proven ability to consistently meet and attain quota is required.
• Thorough knowledge of Surgical Cataract Business including IOLs/OVD and lasers is preferred.
• Prior experience selling Consumable products is preferred.
• Ophthalmology sales experience is highly preferred.
• A valid US driver’s license is required.
• Up to 60% travel may be required including overnight and/or weekends.
• Ideal candidate resides in Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Manage the US Cataract and Refractive franchise within the assigned district geography.
• Lead a complex team including Account Executives, Capital Sales Specialists, Premium Practice Specialists, and Key Account Executives.
• Hire, train and retain a high-caliber sales team.
• Achieve and maintain quota while advancing district goals and initiatives.
• Coordinate efforts of specialists to achieve common goals.
• Develop innovative approaches and share with Vision Leadership.
• Manage performance and development of the team; ensure budget adherence.
