Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision seeks a District Business Manager to lead the Surgical Vision franchise across a multi-state district, including Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Nevada and surrounding areas. This is a remote role, with preference for Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ or Salt Lake City, UT.

You will own district strategy, coach the sales team, manage budget and travel, and drive growth in cataract and refractive products with OR staff and partners.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or US military experience at E6 or higher.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant business experience with proven leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of Capital and Consumable selling cycles and OR processes preferred.
• Experience in Ophthalmology sales and operating room environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Cataract and Refractive franchise within the district geography.
• Direct and develop a diverse sales team with dotted-line oversight of laser specialists.
• Hire, train and retain a high-caliber team of sales professionals.
• Achieve and maintain quota while advancing J&J Vision goals and initiatives.
• Coordinate efforts across specialists to meet common goals and objectives.
• Promote innovative business approaches and share with Vision leadership.
• Attain quota across Capital and Consumables including Phaco, Femto, Refractive IOLs and consumables.
• Performance-manage individuals to optimize sales output and development.
• Manage annual budget and ensure adherence to corporate policies.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of cataract surgery products including Veritas/Signature Pro/Intuitiv phaco systems, femtosecond laser, TECNIS IOLs and related products.
