Job summary

KEMET Electronics / YAGEO Group is seeking a Distribution Development Representative in the Boston, MA area to support the New England market. This role offers exposure to high-tech sales and opportunities to advance into broader sales responsibilities.

You will work with internal teams and distribution partners to drive revenue, manage the territory, and learn the product portfolio for customer design support. Remote work is available with 25% travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field preferred.
• Previous sales experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and moderate meetings.
• Demonstrated analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint emphasized).

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue, design activity, and other performance goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to establish a Distribution Territory Strategy.
• Maintain accountability with internal teams, customers, and distributors regarding commitments and objectives.
• Conduct quarterly business reviews with distribution branches.
• Build and strengthen relationships with distribution partners and customers.
• Provide quarterly territory market updates to distribution account managers.
• Identify and develop new customer engagements.
