Job summary

JLL is seeking a Director of Project Controls in the United States to lead and optimize project controls across large-scale engagements. You will manage schedules, budgets, and risks, while mentoring teams and driving process improvements.

The role demands deep experience in construction controls and strong client relations. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in cost management, familiarity with AACE standards, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a construction-related field.
• 10+ years in Estimator, Cost Manager or similar role.
• Ability to generate AACE level 1-5 cost evaluations.
• Experience translating outputs into marketable deliverables.
• Conceptual knowledge of project cost management.
• Ability to work under guidance and learn from senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls for engagements and multi-project programs.
• Present to key stakeholders and prepare cost estimates.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and monitor implementation.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to track progress.
• Analyze bids and reconcile with contractors and subs.
• Generate project reports and capture lessons learned.
