Job summary

JLL is seeking a Director of Project Controls to lead a team overseeing cost, schedule, and risk across multiple large-scale projects. Remote-based in the United States with travel about 25%, you will shape controls strategy and ensure fiduciary accountability for client and firm.

You will prepare detailed cost estimates from concept through construction, mentor staff, and present findings to senior stakeholders, while staying current with industry best practices and market pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (QS/Architecture/Engineering/Construction Management).
• 10+ years in Estimating, Cost Management, or similar role.
• Ability to generate AACE level 1-5 cost evaluations and proficient estimating software/tools.
• Conceptual knowledge of project cost management theories and procedures.
• Structured work style with ability to receive instruction from senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls for multiple, large-scale projects.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates from concept through construction documents.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and monitor progress.
• Present findings to stakeholders and manage client expectations.
• Coordinate with teams and manage change orders and lessons learned.
