Job summary

JLL is seeking a Director of Project Controls to lead and optimize project schedules, budgets and risk management across complex real estate initiatives. The role requires extensive controls experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves mentoring the team, shaping program strategy, and ensuring fiduciary responsibility to clients. Travel is approximately 25% as projects advance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; preference for QS, architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Ability to generate AACE level 1-5 cost evaluations and use benchmarking tools.
• Conceptual knowledge of project cost management and estimating principles.
• Experience in delivering structured work assignments and following established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls for engagements across multiple projects and large-scale programs.
• Mentor, develop, and oversee team members and act as Team Lead.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and provide timely project status updates.
