Job summary

JLL is seeking a Director of Project Controls to lead project controls across engagements, managing schedules, budgets, and risks from concept to completion. The role emphasizes leadership, clear communication, and the ability to drive value for complex real estate projects.

The candidate will develop cost estimates, oversee project cost management, and mentor team members while engaging with clients and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management).
• Ability to generate AACE cost evaluations; experience with estimating software and benchmarking tools.
• Conceptual knowledge of project cost management theories, practices and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to perform structured work assignments and follow existing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead project controls for engagements across multiple projects and large-scale programs.
• Prepare detailed construction and project cost estimates from design through construction documents.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and monitor their implementation to protect schedule and budget.
• Communicate with stakeholders, manage client expectations, and mentor team members.
