Ascent Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development for International Freight Forwarding.

The role is remote within the US and focuses on identifying and securing new international airfreight business, while leveraging ocean and US customs capabilities for end-to-end solutions. You will lead consultative sales, develop strong client relationships, and coordinate with pricing and operations to deliver compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 7–10 years related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in international airfreight.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight operations, documentation, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new international airfreight business.
• Lead consultative sales of airfreight portfolio, including expedited options and air charter.
• Build strategic partnerships with key customers and expand market presence.
• Coordinate with pricing and operations to craft competitive proposals and RFP responses.
• Travel up to 50% to engage with clients and close deals.
