Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director of Commercial Lines to lead national operations. The role emphasizes strategic oversight, workflow standardization, and scalability across the agency, with emphasis on P&C expertise.

The ideal candidate will hold an active P&C license, have 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership, and ideally possess CPCU/CIC designation or equivalent. Flexible remote work with potential hybrid onsite as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional/Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives focused on productivity and quality.
• Evaluate operational issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing and workload to develop capacity plans that support growth.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
