Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director of Commercial Lines to lead national operations, optimize workflows, and drive M&A integration efforts. The role partners with divisional leaders to enhance service delivery, scalability, and profitability in Commercial P&C operations.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7+ years of leadership in a large agency, holds a Property & Casualty license, and preferably CPCU/CIC designation, with strong communication and change leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Active Property & Casualty License required; CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• Experience leading workflow standardization, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a matrixed organization.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leaders.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable efficiency solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and consistency.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze staffing/workload to support growth and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with Managed Services for resource alignment.
• Serve as national subject matter expert on Commercial P&C operations.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and planning.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and adoption of new processes.
• Promote EPIC utilization and optimize reporting/operational tech.
