Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national operations and drive performance across the organization. This senior role collaborates with Divisional and Regional leaders to standardize processes, improve efficiency, and scale operations while supporting M&A integration and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Property & Casualty license, with CPCU/CIC (or equivalent) and 5–7+ years in a large brokerage/agency setting.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines initiatives with regional leadership to strengthen operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
• Establish standardized workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement projects to boost productivity and reduce variation.
• Conduct root cause analysis to drive sustainable improvements.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and meet service demands.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals and optimize technology usage.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
