Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. This role partners with leadership to drive workflow standardization, workforce planning, and operational scalability, while supporting producers and account teams in delivering exceptional client service.

Ideal candidates have a 5–7+ year track record in Commercial Lines leadership within a large brokerage, with active P&C license and CPCU/CIC preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategies with division and regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable process improvements.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth and service demands.
• Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and industry best practices.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and alignment.
