Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations. You will partner with regional leadership to standardize workflows, drive operational excellence, and scale agency performance while delivering exceptional client service.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of leadership in Commercial Lines within a large brokerage, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designations preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a highly matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional and Regional Leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate operational issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth.
• Align Managed Services with organizational goals and resources.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, systems, and best practices.
• Support merger and acquisition integration through operational assessments and planning.
• Build partnerships with producers, operations teams, and leadership to drive engagement.
