Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial P&C operations, workflow standardization, and strategic initiatives. The role partners with divisional and regional leadership to optimize agency operations and deliver exceptional client service.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership, an active P&C license, and CPCU/CIC designation.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Standardize workflows, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to increase productivity and consistency.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Guide agency operations, workflows, systems, and best practices.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and planning.
