Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to serve as a national SME in Commercial Property & Casualty and agency operations. You will partner with Divisional and Regional Leadership to drive strategy, optimize workflows, and support governance that enhances client service and shareholder value.

Ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, CPCU/CIC, and 5–7+ years of leadership in a large brokerage.

Qualifications

Active P&C license required
CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred
5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency
Expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization
Experience in workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong workforce planning and resource management experience
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and operational integration
Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, efficient solutions.
Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth.
Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership for strategic initiatives.
Promote effective use of EPIC, reporting tools, and technology platforms.
Drive change leadership and continuous professional development.
