Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director of Commercial Lines to lead national operations and drive best practices in P&C insurance. The role emphasizes workflow standardization, process optimization, and strategic partnership with producers and leadership to deliver exceptional client service and shareholder value.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7+ years in commercial lines operations, active P&C license, and preferred CPCU/CIC designation, with strong cross-functional and M&A

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with regional leaders to improve operations and service delivery.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to boost efficiency and quality.
• Establish and promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Evaluate issues using root-cause analysis and implement sustainable actions.
• Analyze staffing and workload to support growth with capacity planning.
• Align Managed Services resources with organizational goals and optimize resource use.
• Provide national guidance on EPIC usage, workflows, and technology optimization.
• Support M&A integration through operational assessments and workflow alignment.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive accountability and results.
