Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national Commercial Property & Casualty operations, drive workflow standardization, and partner with divisional leadership to scale performance. The role focuses on optimizing processes, workforce planning, and guiding M&A integration while supporting producers and operations to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation strongly preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large brokerage/agency.
• Expertise in agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration.
• EPIC experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with Divisional/Regional leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Plan workforce capacity to support growth and excellence.
• Align with Managed Services and technology platforms for efficiency.
• Provide guidance on agency operations, workflows, and systems.
• Support M&A integration through assessments and alignment.
• Collaborate with producers and leadership to drive results.
• Drive adoption of EPIC and other tech to improve performance.
