Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director, Commercial Lines dedicated to national oversight of operations within a large brokerage context. The role emphasizes leadership across workflows, process standardization, and strategic support for producers and account teams.

The ideal candidate brings a P&C license, CPCU/CIC designation, and 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines leadership experience, with a track record in optimization and mergers/acquisitions support.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with root cause analysis and sustainable process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership teams.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity to support growth.
• Support M&A integration and operational alignment initiatives.
• Promote EPIC usage and other technology to improve performance.
• Provide guidance to producers, account teams, and leadership.
