Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director, Commercial Lines to lead national commercial P&C operations, standardize workflows, and guide strategic initiatives with divisional leaders. The role focuses on efficiency, quality, and scalable practices across the brokerage.

Remote work is favored, with occasional on-site collaboration as needed. Ideal candidates bring 5–7+ years in Commercial Lines leadership, active P&C license, CPCU/CIC designations, and EPIC experience, plus strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent).
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.
• Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• EPIC experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Commercial Lines operations initiatives across the organization.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Lead process-improvement initiatives to boost productivity and quality.
• Analyze staffing and capacity needs to support growth and excellence.
• Collaborate with producers, operations, and leadership to drive program adoption.
• Promote use of EPIC, reporting tools, and tech platforms to standardize operations.
