Job summary

Circana is seeking a Director, Client Sales & Insights to lead strategic client engagements with top CPG brands in a remote/US-wide setup. You will own the sales cycle, translate complex data into actionable insights, and drive revenue growth while collaborating with product and analytics teams.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in client-facing roles within retail/CPG, strong storytelling, and proficiency with Circana's data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive business experience with retailer/CPG environments.
• 5+ years working with syndicated data, analytics, or category management (POS, consumer panels, etc.).
• Sales experience with proven storytelling
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for clients.

Responsibilities

• Drive Client Growth by aligning Circana’s data and software with client goals.
• Deliver insight-led solutions to help clients make informed decisions.
• Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with decision-makers and influencers across client organizations.
• Stay current on retail/CPG trends to position Circana as a thought leader.
• Utilize Circana’s platforms (Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support engagements.
• Achieve revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management and account planning.
• Champion client success and proactively address challenges and opportunities.
• Provide advanced analytic capabilities and deliver fact-based insights.
• Serve as primary client service contact and ensure data accuracy via quality checks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows, tools, and training.
