Job summary

Circana is seeking a Senior Director of Retail Client Sales and Insights to lead a team serving one of the largest US retailers. You will partner with retail leaders to deliver high-impact insights that influence merchandising and drive growth, using Circana data and solutions.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in client insights/management within CPG/retail, with expertise in syndicated data platforms and data visualization tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in client insights, client management, category management, consulting, or syndicated data analytics within CPG/retail/consumer goods.
• Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Experience building and managing senior-level client relationships and serving as a trusted strategic advisor.
• Demonstrated expertise with syndicated data platforms such as Circana/IRI/Nielsen/Numerator, and data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Drive client growth by aligning Circana data and software with client goals.
• Deliver insight-led solutions translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
• Maintain industry expertise to position Circana as a thought leader.
• Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations.
• Utilize Circana’s platforms to support client engagements and delivery.
• Meet or exceed revenue targets through pipeline management and account planning.
• Champion client success by addressing challenges and identifying growth opportunities.
• Provide market feedback to refine offerings and inform product development.
• Demonstrate advanced analytic skills to deliver fact-based insights.
