National General Holdings Corp. is expanding its direct sales presence in the local market. The Direct Sales Agent Specialist drives growth by bringing in new business, cross-selling to existing customers, and building lasting relationships.

You will manage a local pipeline, prospect actively, and partner with leadership on initiatives to boost sales and market presence. The role involves selling to local customers in person and by phone, with a base hourly pay and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
