Job summary

Direct Auto Insurance Company is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by securing new business and cross-selling to current customers. You will build a local pipeline, nurture relationships with dealerships and partners, and conduct outbound prospecting to convert opportunities into sales.

You will work in-store and over the phone, delivering tailored insurance solutions, staying informed on products and underwriting guidelines, and meeting performance and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
