Job summary

National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is hiring a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. The role covers in-person and phone sales, with emphasis on community engagement and outside marketing.

You will achieve sales goals, develop a local pipeline, and partner with leadership to support local marketing initiatives while staying informed on products and underwriting

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or related field.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline with local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
