Job summary

CONVERGIX Automation Solutions is seeking an energetic Account Manager to drive CDS digital sales across the US. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to signed PO, leveraging Ignition, Sepasoft, and Historian expertise to build compelling business cases for plant leadership.

You will collaborate with engineers and executives to shape solutions, develop new pipeline, and expand multi-year revenue through MSAs and value-based engagements. Travel 50%+ is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial automation, manufacturing IT, or systems integration with quota responsibility.
• Closed wins in MES/MOM solutions; able to walk a plant manager through the business case.
• Hands-on familiarity with Ignition (Inductive Automation) and Sepasoft module experience is a strong plus.
• Historian experience (e.g., PI, Ignition Historian) and comfort with time-series data in an operational context.
• Consultative sales methodology experience (MEDDIC, Challenger, Solution Selling or equivalent).
• Based in the United States with work authorization; willing to travel 50%+ within US & Canada.

Responsibilities

• New-account development and building net-new pipeline in accounts with no prior CDS revenue.
• Own the full sales motion from outbound prospecting through signed PO, including discovery, business case development, and close.
• Drive digital campaigns' inbound inquiries to qualified opportunities and convert marketing leads to deals.
• Target verticals: Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, CPG, Oil & Gas, discrete manufacturing.
• Own the commercial motion across the full CDS digital stack (Ignition, Intuition, Sepasoft MES/MOM, Historian, OT data).
• Collaborate with DS Solution Architect on scoping and proposal development; set the commercial strategy while they build the solution.
• Engage multiple plant leadership levels; diagnose production visibility gaps and ROI drivers before proposing solutions.
• Develop relationships with partner teams to maximize co-selling referrals and joint GTM activity.
