Job summary

Rebel Music Operations is seeking a Digital Rights Coordinator to run hands-on rights management: catching missed revenue, keeping catalogs accurate, resolving claims quickly, and ensuring monetization stays clean and compliant across YouTube. You will work with ops on execution and with client-facing teams on issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Must have YouTube Content Owner / SRAV CMS experience and understanding of the UGC video ecosystem.
• Proficient with Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets beyond basic data entry.
• Experience using AI tools to research, streamline workflows, and improve accuracy.
• Working knowledge of music metadata and copyright.
• YT Music Certifications (YT Music, YT Music Rights Management, Asset Management).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with impeccable follow-through.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail; curiosity drives work.
• Love of research and innate curiosity.

Responsibilities

• Keep catalog metadata (ISRC, UPC, writer splits) clean and current for every client.
• Handle content claims, copyright takedowns, and allow-list requests.
• Resolve invalid references, reference overlaps, disputes, and appeals before they expire.
• Audit channels for missed revenue or rights not yet claimed.
• Assert clients' rights across audio and video assets to maximize revenue.
• Handle Content ID catalog delivery and management.
• Help run down fraud and conflicts across YouTube, publishing, and distribution.
