Cox Enterprises is seeking a Digital Marketing / Communications Manager to own paid media buying across endemic trade publications, sponsorships, and programmatic platforms. This senior, individual contributor role partners with Product, Brand Marketing, Analytics, and Finance to deliver a defensible annual publisher plan and measurable cost efficiency.

The role supports remote work within the Eastern or Central Time Zones, with hybrid options if near office locations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in media buying or related field.
• Experience buying media from publishers including rate/contract negotiation.
• Experience managing programmatic and paid social campaigns across DSPs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Brand Marketing, Analytics, and Finance.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with a data-driven mindset.

Aufgaben

• Develops and evolves the endemic media plan including publisher mix and budget.
• Negotiate rates and terms with trade publishers and evaluate rate cards.
• Manage full buy cycle from RFP to post-campaign reconciliation.
• Assess audience and third-party verification for placements.
• Establish scalable publisher evaluation frameworks and renewal decisions.
• Maintain publisher relationships and surface new inventory opportunities.
• Plan and execute sponsorship packages and custom content.
• Manage programmatic and platform buying across DSPs and paid social.
• Oversee media operations, budgeting, invoicing, and vendor management.
• Define KPIs and report performance to leadership and partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to document SOPs and build in-house capability.
