Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead to drive strategy, creation, execution, and optimization of digital communications for peer-to-peer fundraising. This is a remote and flexible location position.

The role collaborates with internal teams and vendors to ensure digital campaigns align with fundraising goals, leveraging data analytics to improve engagement and donor outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience; 5–7 years preferred in digital marketing, digital fundraising, campaign management, or related discipline.
• Experience in nonprofit and fundraising environments.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong project management and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-channel digital campaigns to recruit, engage, coach, steward, and retain participants and donors.
• Lead digital content creation across email, SMS, paid media, social, video, audio, and written channels.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement innovative digital engagement strategies.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance with journey-level and channel analyses.
• Drive optimization based on performance data and audience insights.
