Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead to own the strategy, creation, and optimization of digital communications for peer-to-peer fundraising. This remote role offers flexible location options and access to Heart U and local training.

Responsibilities include leading multi-channel campaigns, collaborating with vendors and field teams, and driving fundraising outcomes with analytics and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum of related experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven insights.
• Ability to collaborate with staff, vendors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of digital content across email, SMS, paid media, social, video, audio, and written channels to recruit, engage, coach, steward, and retain participants and donors.
• Analyze campaign performance and optimize engagement, fundraising, and retention metrics.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to execute digital engagement strategies.
• Manage multi-channel campaigns from concept through deployment, including copy, design, testing, QA, and launch.
• Oversee channel management across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, emails, SMS, social, and paid media.
