Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead to oversee strategy, creation, and optimization of digital communications for peer-to-peer fundraising. This remote, flexible role partners with internal teams and vendors to drive engagement, fundraising outcomes, and participant experiences.

The role requires strong analytics, campaign management, and cross-functional collaboration to support the Association's mission and priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3 years minimum of prior related experience; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit and fundraising environments.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong relationships with staff, vendors, and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and deployment of multi-channel digital campaigns for fundraising programs.
• Create and produce digital content including emails, ads, video, and SMS assets.
• Manage paid media strategy and collaboration with agencies and vendors.
• Analyze engagement, conversion, fundraising, and retention metrics and report insights.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to align digital communications with fundraising goals.
