Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Digital Fundraising Strategy Lead to drive strategy, creation, and optimization of digital fundraising communications. This remote and flexible role supports peer-to-peer campaigns and analytics-driven optimization across email, SMS, social, and paid media.

Ideal candidates will have substantial experience in digital fundraising, strong analytics, and the ability to manage complex campaigns with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3+ years in digital marketing or fundraising; 5–7 years preferred.
• Nonprofit fundraising experience is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with staff, vendors and partners.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic digital plans.
• Adapt strategies quickly based on performance data.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and deployment of multi-channel digital campaigns.
• Coordinate campaign development from concept through deployment, including approvals and testing.
• Manage paid media strategy and performance with agency partners.
• Oversee Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, Email, SMS, and other channels.
• Analyze engagement, conversions, fundraising, and retention metrics.
• Produce monthly/seasonal performance reports and insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align with fundraising goals.
