Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Sales Development Manager to drive new business in the ID diagnostics space across multiple US states. You will identify opportunities, build relationships from scratch, and deliver tailored diagnostic solutions to hospitals and clinics.

You will own the territory pipeline, qualify leads, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to overcome objections and close deals. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, business or life sciences preferred.
• 4+ years of proven sales success and competitive conversions.
• Strong problem solving and complex selling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Penetrate untapped accounts and expand Abbott’s footprint in ID diagnostics.
• Develop territory plans and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and account plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Finance, Contracts, and Technical Services.
