The ALS Association in Wisconsin is seeking a Development Manager to lead Walk to Defeat ALS and Distinguished events. The role partners with the Director of Development to recruit sponsors, steward participants, and meet fundraising goals while growing support for the ALS community.

This remote position based in Wisconsin requires building relationships with corporate partners, volunteers, and donors, expanding outreach, and ensuring events stay within budget.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years in fundraising, event management, volunteer development and management, public relations, donor cultivation and corporate sponsor cultivation.
• Skilled at managing participants in an online fundraising platform and running reports to support outreach.
• Strong organizational skills and good judgment in scheduling events.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple constituencies and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Implement a plan to meet an income portfolio goal of $650,000+ across events.
• Recruit, steward, and retain event committee chairs and members; build community partner relationships.
• Collaborate with Event Experience and volunteers on logistics, printing, and materials.
• Operate within budgetary guidelines and coordinate with Care Services and MarCom teams.
• Engage the public by representing the organization at community events and meetings.
