The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a Development Coordinator-Temporary. This remote, temporary position in the Northeast (New Jersey) supports School Fundraising programs for Kids Heart Challenge, including data entry, donor records, and communications with schools.

The role begins December 14, 2026 and runs through May 2027 (about 14 weeks). It is home-office-based, with laptop provided and flexible hours, five hours per day, five days per week.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in administrative work, project coordination, and/or event management systems.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in event planning and using web conferencing tools.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; these skills may be tested.
• Able to work in a team and manage multiple tasks concurrently; background check required.

Responsabilités

• Meet regularly with directors and volunteers to maintain open communication and meet objectives.
• Respond to customer inquiries, both internal and external, in a timely, knowledgeable manner.
• Prepare presentations, correspondence, and documentation; take meeting minutes.
• Work independently and with the team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
