Job summary

American Heart Association is seeking a Development Coordinator-Temporary to support School Fundraising for the Kids Heart Challenge. This remote, part-time role involves data entry, donor and event support, email and phone outreach, and coordination with the RVP and Development Directors.

Responsibilities include maintaining data in Dynamics/Luminate, producing reports, and assisting with meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience in administrative work, project coordination, and/or event management systems with strong attention to detail.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in event planning, organizing, consultation, and event management; proficiency with web conferencing software.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; advanced skills preferred.
• Ability to evaluate, decide, and develop solutions.
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships.
• Willingness to work in a changing environment; flexibility.
• Knowledge of report preparation, proofreading, and attention to detail.
• Must pass background check; 18+.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with directors and volunteers to maintain open communication.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
• Support Directors/Sr. Directors, VPs, and SVPs.
• Prepare presentations, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Work independently and in a team on projects.
• Enter, maintain, and report on donor data and events.
• Process data in management systems and ensure accuracy.
• Generate reports as needed.
• Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
