Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Development Coordinator-Temporary to support the School Fundraising programs for the Kids Heart Challenge campaign. This remote, 14-week assignment begins December 14, 2026, and involves data entry, donor records, communications, and coordination with the RVP and Directors.

Responsibilities include maintaining data accuracy, generating reports, coordinating with schools and volunteers, and handling emails and calls to ensure engagement goals are met.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in administrative work, project coordination, or event management systems.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in event planning and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Proficient with web conferencing (Zoom, MS Teams, Event.Gives).
• Multitasking ability and strong attention to detail.
• Intermediate skills in PowerPoint, Word and Excel (testing may apply).
• Ability to work in a team and independently with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with directors and volunteers to align objectives.
• Respond to inquiries and provide timely, knowledgeable service.
• Perform other duties to support Directors and Senior Leaders.
• Prepare presentations, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
• Work on projects both independently and in teams.
