Job summary

UST is seeking a Deskside Support Engineer to provide desktop and mobile end-user support for hardware, software, and applications in a Remote - US setting. You will handle MAC (70%) and PC (30%) issues, supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile apps.

The role requires 3+ years in user support, a MIS/IT-related degree, and experience with ServiceNow, SCCM, Airwatch, and networking basics. Excellent communication and multitasking are essential; CompTIA A+/Network+ are a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a customer-facing deskside support / end user computing role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience with MAC, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities in a support-oriented environment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow ticketing tool.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+ and Network+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the face of IT for the client and deliver a personalized end-user experience.
  • Support desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile applications across MAC and PC.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile apps.
  • Respond to end-user questions for hardware, software, and applications.
  • Create and manage tickets in ServiceNow and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Collaborate with client management and vendors to maintain quality end-user experience.
