Job summary
Lumen, a leading provider of AI-ready connectivity, seeks a seasoned sales professional in Maine to grow the portfolio of products and solutions. This desk-based role focuses on new logo acquisition and account development with limited field engagement, leveraging a defined territory and collaborative support.
You will build relationships, qualify opportunities, deliver compelling value propositions, and forecast monthly sales activity.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of sales experience.
- Experience selling telecom solutions.
- Advanced desk-based/inside sales experience.
- History developing new accounts and opening territories a plus.
- Persuasive selling and prospecting skills (cold calls, email, social).
- Proficiency in Salesforce/CRM.
- Work with integrity and team coaching mindset.
Responsibilities
- Desk-based prospecting, selling and account management to meet monthly quotas.
- Deliver strong value proposition via consultative and transactional selling.
- Qualify via calls, emails, social media, campaigns and follow-ups.
- Provide timely quotes and maintain CRM notes.
- Prepare for each customer call with focused agendas and opportunities.
- Engage internal resources to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Forecast and report monthly sales activity.
