Job summary

Novartis is seeking an Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) to work remotely in a field-based capacity supporting key accounts across an assigned geography. You will educate accounts on access, reimbursement, coverage, and patient support resources to help patients access prescribed therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from 4-year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in reimbursement, market access, managed care, or related healthcare.
• Experience supporting specialty pharmacy products through specialty networks, distributors, or other specialty access channels.
• Knowledge of coding, billing, claims, reimbursement processes, and patient support programs.
• Experience partnering with specialty pharmacies and navigating access and reimbursement considerations across the patient journey.
• Understanding of buy-and-bill reimbursement pathways, including product acquisition, coverage, and payment processes.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% over a broad geography; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare providers and stakeholders to support patient access to therapies and resources.
• Deliver education on access, reimbursement, coverage, and patient support programs.
• Serve as a resource for product acquisition, ordering, payment, inventory management, and returns.
• Collaborate with accounts to navigate reimbursement challenges and identify practical solutions.
• Monitor payer policy changes and reimbursement trends affecting patients, providers, and stakeholders.
• Support patient assistance and co-pay programs and help patients start and stay on therapy.
• Partner with Patient Support Services to resolve access issues and track cases.
• Develop account-specific access and reimbursement plans, including buy-and-bill processes and site-of-care considerations.
• Build relationships with revenue cycle leaders and other stakeholders.
• Share customer insights and market trends with internal partners while complying with policies.
