Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer – Data Security to serve as a customer-facing security expert. The role focuses on consultative security projects and developing new services offerings. Remote work is possible, with occasional reporting to an Austin office as required.

The candidate will engage with CIOs, CSOs, and security teams, expanding knowledge through SHI training and self-study, to drive cybersecurity sales engagements and proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience with security frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, CIS) and related controls.
• Strong security tech knowledge: DLP, DSPM, DDR, data encryption.
• Ability to communicate complex tech to non-technical stakeholders to enable sales.
• Expertise with industry tools like Proofpoint, zScaler, Mimecast, Cyera, Varonis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CIOs, CISOs, security engineers and procurement to win deals.
• Learn SHI service offerings and educate sales teams on cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop collateral and use cases for cybersecurity sales engagements.
• Scope SOWs for professional services aligned to recommended products.
