Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology, computer science, or related discipline.
• 7+ years of information security, cloud engineering, or data engineering experience.
• Experience with data protection or database security.
• Strong SQL skills and knowledge of cloud data services.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains data protection controls across enterprise data estate.
• Configures encryption controls for data at rest and in transit; manages keys and CMK.
• Implements least-privilege access models and conducts entitlement reviews.
• Hardens security configurations for Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure SQL, and SQL Server.
• Embeds security controls into data ingestion, transformation, and sharing workflows.
• Automates control deployment and compliance validation using IaC and APIs.
• Documents implementation guides, runbooks, and design reviews.
• Provides hands-on technical support to teams deploying data solutions.
