Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS data services and SQL for relational views over XML/JSON.
• Experience with XML-heavy data stores and data transformations.
• Ability to justify architectural trade-offs based on cost/performance.
• Familiarity with BI tools like QuickSight or similar.
• Strong Git/GitHub workflows and CI/CD practices.
• IaC using CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Lead healthcare data platform modernization efforts.
• Architect cloud-native AWS data architecture for reporting.
• Evaluate AWS data strategies and storage options.
• Design SQL-based reporting layer for business users.
• Plan migration of XML object store from MSSQL to AWS.
• Build data catalog, schemas, and metadata management.
• Optimize queries and costs across AWS services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to derive data models and patterns.
• Coordinate with .NET engineers for data flow and pipelines.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with AWS tooling.
• Apply IaC practices with CDK/CloudFormation/ Terraform.
• Document architecture decisions and data dictionaries.
