Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of data center operations experience, with a focus on independent/freelance projects.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ certifications highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking gear, and hardware for optimal performance and uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site, diagnosing issues to minimize downtime.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Juniper devices to align with standards.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, including updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs, and performance for remote teams with clear reports.
• Implement and maintain security practices to protect infrastructure.
