Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is preferred but not required.
• 3+ years of data center operations experience, with focus on independent or freelance projects.
• Certifications like Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS, or CompTIA Linux+ are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking equipment, and other hardware to ensure uptime.
• Monitor data center operations remotely and on-site, diagnosing issues to minimize downtime.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot networking devices (Cisco/Juniper) per standards.
• Manage Linux and Windows systems, applying updates and security patches.
• Document installations, repairs, and performance, reporting to remote management.
• Implement security protocols to protect data center infrastructure.
• Collaborate with remote IT teams and vendors to improve operations.
